Grove in the Park is situated in Harrison Park East (on West Bryson Road) and was set up in September 2016. Find us here. We used the planters from the now-closed Grove 2 Fountainbridge Community Garden.
Grove in the Park aims to be a community hub and to provide local people with the chance to grow food. We garden here communally and are keen to welcome new members to help make this garden flourish.
How to join
We have gardening sessions on Saturday mornings from 10am – 12 noon, meeting either at the garden or in the café of the North Merchiston Club. You get a short induction and become a member of the garden.
If you cannot get along at all on Saturdays please email us.
How does it work once I have joined?
As a member you can garden at Grove in the Park whenever you choose. We keep a task list in the toolbox so you can easily find out what needs to be done. Or just come along to sit and enjoy the space. We are family-friendly and have children’s planters and a play canoe.
- You do not need to be a gardener. Being curious is enough.
- Gardeners with a bit of experience are of course very, very welcome.
Members of ‘The Grove’ are automatically members of ‘Grove in the Park’.
