The Grove 1st Birthday Party: Sun 27 April

A Community celebration: The Grove’s 1st Birthday Party

Sunday 27th April at 2pm – 6pm

The Grove Community Garden is opening its doors.

Come and explore, have fun and see what the garden offers the community.

•Food – Bring and Share
Bring a a dish along on the day. A cake would be great as it is the birthday of The Garden but of course there are no limits. Keep in mind it is a finger food event.

•Live music 3-4pm
Two of our gardeners will make music. Ismael and Ros together with other musicians will be busking together on the day.

•Arts and Craft 2-5pm
Annie a gardner that started in Grove 1 will over a craft. It will be weaving with natural materials.

•Face painting
Martina a gardner that was involved in the set up of The Grove since 2013 will do facepainting. She is a professional illustrator as well so her facepainting is guaranteed to be amazing.

•Seed bombs
Anna-Lisa and some children got into making seed bombs. Learn how to make them from them and maybe take one home with you.

•Herbal tea making with herbs from the garden
Ruby will use the amazing mint we have and much more to create delicious teas on the day. Ruby is one of our lead gardners in the garden. Come to her table and have a tea and a chat.
